One Canada Square
For this individual project, the task was to identify the application of structural and architectural building material for the piece of architecture and the architect of our choosing.
A detailed research was done on the chosen architect's background, the building, the materials involved, the layout and any other information that would benefit this assignment.
I decided to research on the work of the architect Cesar Pelli. The chosen piece of his architecture for this research was One Canada Square, located in Canary Wharf, London.

Reflection
After completing this project, I have gained relevant knowledge that surely assisted me with my other projects. I was introduced to diverse materials with different functionalities of every application. The concept of structural and architectural material and their applications was clearer by the end of the assignment. Additionally, this also benefited me as I observed a similar pattern in Cesar Pelli's work thus improving my analytical and researching skills as well.
